What does the persimmon have that would be very special in jiuce?
When eating a persimmon raw, must skin be on?
What does it mix well with? (not tomato, right?)

Musicaljames, Hi, this is a delayed response! FYI, persimmons must be ripe/soft before you eat them. Anyone who has ever made the mistake as I have of eating one before is is thoroughly ripe will nod in agreement.

I have two favorite ways to eat persimmons. #1. Cut a ripe one in quarters and eat the flesh. Don't eat the skin. #2. Let the persimmons get really soft, then slice them in half and scrape out the gelatinous syrupy flesh into a bowl and mix it with one or 2 diced golden delicious apples. Adding some shredded coconut to this also makes for a pleasurable variation. Good luck.
