100% raw

 Breakfast- 8 Honey tangerines

Lunch- 4 bananas

Dinner- 2 avocados, 1 large grapefruit, 1/2 cup shredded coconut, 1/2 cup walnuts

Yea, I know that dinner was heavy on the fat.  I ate what I had here at home.  The avocados were ripe, perfectly ripe; I ate them with a spoon as if I was eating ice cream!  The other dinner ingredients were mixed together in a bowl and I ate it all together. Lunch was kind of light so I "beefed up" dinner.

My friend Andrew came by today; he was telling me that today is his sixth day of eating 100% raw- way to go Andrew!  We both agreed that for us it's easier to eat  all raw than to eat partially raw.  Once I eat something cooked I don't want anything raw and everything goes down hill really fast.  By the way, for me, today is day 37 of 100% raw.  I fell off the raw food wagon back in January and I am happily back on it.

Wow, so that meal plan you have there, are you able to go on with your day without needing to snack?

Is this based on your metabolic typing?

That's right, 3 raw meals and no snacks. Sometimes for food combining reasons, I may delay eating the 2nd course. For example, yesterday, 9/13/08, I ate cantaloupe and then waited about 15-20 minutes before eating the raw pie. It's not based on metabolic typing. I just feel best when I'm not grazing all day. Human beings can fast on water for 50-60 days with no harm done. We certainly are capable to go 3-5 hours without snacking! Then I'm truly hungry at meal time and my food digests more efficiently because the previous meal is not still lingering in my stomach.
