I'm feeling very satisfied with eating raw these days. Once I am committed to eating only raw food, there is a point at which it just becomes easier and there isn't so much difficulty staying raw. It takes willingness and support. I've reached out for support numerous times a day on a daily basis during the recent few weeks. After a while you just get into a groove and raw is automatic.
While I've been laid up post-op from foot surgery I've been aware that I do not want to add the bloated discomfort of a stomach heavy with cooked food to the tenderness and soreness of my healing feet. It has also been remarkably easy to not take the pain killers that the Dr. prescribed for me; there has been little pain. I attribute this to my willingness to rest and allow my body heal itself, and also due to the absence of systemic irritation that results from consuming cooked food.
