Raw vegans bones are strong...

Breakfast- 4 large Navel oranges

I came across a recent reference to the Fontana study of bone strength.  Nature's food provides exactly what we need for a strong healthy body and this article and study supports this.  Here are some excerpts:

  • "...the team at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis found the vegans they studied had many of the signs of strong bones." 
  • "Fontana expected the vegans to have low vitamin D levels because they avoid dairy products, which are fortified with the vitamin. But in fact their vitamin D levels were "markedly higher" than average."
  • "...the vegans had low levels of C-reactive protein, an inflammatory molecule that is becoming linked with the risk of heart disease, diabetes and other chronic disease."
