Dinner- A salad of chopped 3/4 head of Romaine lettuce, 2 large shredded carrots, 1/2 cup freshly ground sesame seed, 1 tbs. dulse flakes, and juice from 1 lemon.
Ah, sunshine, I love it! We do not have to fear the sun; our fear of the sun is hurting us. I've been spending a few minutes outside in the sun recently since New York's weather has improved. Several years ago I started a practice of laying in the sun 10-15 minutes a day early in the spring. This way I build up tolerance and I don't have to worry about getting sunburned unless I am extremely careless. Raw foods and sunshine are a perfect combination. As a raw foodist, I enjoy the sunshine more than ever. Sunshine does not cause cancer! Eating cooked food causes cancer! All nourishment comes from the sun; think about it.
