Show me the logic...
Breakfast- fresh almond milk coconut smoothie
Lunch- 6 Navel oranges
Dinner- 6 Navel oranges
I've been thinking some more about Friday's blog and Dr. Karp's statement about raw food and children and weaning. There doesn't seem to be any logic in it. What is the scientific basis for a claim that raw food has less nutritional value than cooked food? Raw banana vs cooked, fresh raw sweet corn vs cooked, fresh raw pureed beet vs cooked, fresh raw soaked almond butter vs roasted almond butter, why would someone claim that eating the raw version would contribute to a deficiency but the cooked would not? I don't see the logic in this.
