No s_ _t Sherlock...
There's a new study out that shows that certain foods appear to help prevent cancer. HELLO!!!! The study focused mainly on broccoli sprouts, cabbage, ginkgo biloba and garlic. However, it's easy to discern from the study that a raw vegan diet helps prevent cancer. They even suggest that raw cabbage is better than cooked. They mention the actual chemical components in these foods that contribute to cancer prevention. Of course we know that no one food is the only food that has these and many other health supportive factors. Nature always provides what we need if we let her. Here's a few quotes from the article:
- "...generous consumption of fruits and vegetables is associated with reduced cancer risk."
- "The most protective effect appeared to come from raw or briefly cooked cabbage..."
- "...the case for increasing fruit and vegetable consumption to promote health and prevent disease -- cancer included -- is compelling and strong."
- "...while it may be some time before they have any practical applications for people, that should not stop us from adding more vegetables and fruits to our diet."
I'll say it again; "No s_ _t, Sherlock!"
