The Raw Health and Happiness Society had a terrific meeting last night. The topic was fruit. The colors, shapes, and aromas of ripe fruit are naturally appealing to us. Our hands, fingers, and arms are perfectly designed for picking fruit from trees, bushes and vines. Nature doesn't make mistakes. Fruit is the ideal food for humans. Ripe fruit contains simple sugars which are the only fuel that our cells can use. Fruit contains amino acids, minerals and fats in the perfect ratio for physiological use. A diet of primarily fruit, along with vegetables, seeds and nuts, all raw, is the ideal diet for humans.
