Matthew Kenny does Darien...
Breakfast- 6 golden mangos
Lunch- 5 bananas
Dinner- a salad: 2 carrots shredded, 1 celery stick shredded, 1 pint cherry tomatoes sliced, 1 avocado diced, 1 tsp dulse flakes, juice of 1 lime
Matthew Kenny's new operation, Blue/Green is catching the attention of Darien, CT. Regardless of his past troubles with his former partner Sarma, I'm glad that he's flourishing. He's got a gift and I'm glad he's applying it to raw food.
Call it ego or whatever you will, I like to hear that other people are having experiences similar to mine. Greenwich Time reports of Matthew, "Kenney, now 41, says that since switching to a raw foods lifestyle, he has more energy, needs less sleep and has renewed passion as a chef." A local Darien fan of Matthew's has similar sentiments, "Since [Michelle] Mauboussin has been eating raw foods, she says her energy has increased dramatically -- she needs less sleep and is training for a marathon, not an easy feat for a 41-year-old mother of five."
Eating raw food works! I believe that optimal and long term success with raw living depends on simple meals rather than complex meals. However, if you're a beginner, or someone who just wants something extra, as my raw artist friend Carol Pessin says, "just eat raw!"
