Raw Foods and freedom...

Breakfast- 1/2 watermelon

Lunch- 2 slices Raw Soul Cheesecake Lover's Cheesecake

Dinner- large salad of leaf lettuce, 3 shredded carrots, and Raw Soul creamy Italian dressing

I thoroughly enjoyed the potluck dinner last night.  However, this morning, I didn't feel as alert and energetic as I usually do.  The combination of the various foods with multiple ingredients is a treat but it also complicates digestion.  That's why I strive to limit my consumption of complex multiple ingredient raw preparations and to reserve them for special occasions(potluck dinners).

There was some good news recently about the Andressohn family in Florida.  Their children were taken away from them because they were raw foodists, and healthy none-the-less.  The family has been through a difficult trial but the good news is that they're getting reunited!  The Andressohn's case is an example of how our rights to free will must be protected.  Steve, from Raw Friends, writes  "Remember...this is not solely about the food, rather your right to choose a healthy lifestyle!!!"

Oh that is wonderful news about the Andressohn family. I've chatted briefly via email with Steve from Raw Friends he's very nice and helpful. Last year he answered a few questions I had about raw foods.

I'm looking forward to my first raw meetup in Maryland.
