The lettuce did the trick...
Dinner- 4 ripe bananas
I feel really glad that I ate the lettuce for lunch. Somehow it balanced my system after eating all the fatty food and my cravings subsided. I've heard that when you eat a high fat raw food diet you get fatty blood and the nutrition that your cells need is blocked by the fat in the blood. Your cells go without and this sets up cravings. It makes sense to me and fits in with my experience.
Tonight at the Raw Health and Happiness Society meeting there was a general agreement among members that they feel better when they don't consume excessive nuts and other fatty raw foods. We're all learning together. As a group we're doing something new- living as raw foodists in modern conventional society.
