Cherries, Salad, Cacao crash...
Breakfast- 1 1/2 lbs cherries, 1 pint strawberries
Lunch- 1 1/2 lbs cherries
Dinner- a salad: 1 head Romaine lettuce, 10 oz cherry tomatoes, 4 chopped sun-dried tomatoes, 3 tbs tahini, 1/4 cup cashew nuts
The cherry tomatoes were perfectly sweet and really flavorful. Using tahini and cashew nuts was a little over the top with fat but I just went with it any way.
I feel sheepish to admit this but the chocolate macaroons I ate yesterday rev'd me up so much that I didn't sleep until around 1:30A.M. Today, I felt ok until this afternoon when I crashed. I felt so tired and had to take a nap. I feel okay now but I feel closer to being willing to refrain from eating cacao as a special treat. Is it a treat if it prevents me from getting the rest I need and I feel depressed when I come down from it?
I've gotta get going. I'm leading the Raw Health and Happiness Society meeting tonight. We're talking about body image issues and the raw lifestyle, feeling to thin or too fat.
