More sauce on the way, Lost at sea fishermen saved by raw food...
Breakfast- 2 medium sized cantaloupe
Lunch- 6 bananas
Dinner- Mock peanut sauce served over 2 shredded zucchini squash, Romaine lettuce, and sliced 1 cucumber
Here's a photo I took of the sauce I made using Jennifer Cornbleet's marinara sauce recipe on Thursday. As soon as I finish writing this entry I'm going to try our her mock peanut sauce recipe.
The Mexican men who drifted at sea for months before being recently rescued were declared to be in good health except for swelling due to over exposure to the sun. These men have said that their companions died because they refused to eat raw food. Once again they were declared to be in good health! They fasted and ate raw food and drank rain water for months on end. Is there a lesson here?
I am not an advocate of eating raw fish but I would do it in similar circumstances. It would be the best of conditions under which to eat raw fish- when it's the only food available and immediately upon catching it. Otherwise, fish and all flesh immediately begins to decompose and rot at the moment of death. All flesh that is sold in stores and restaurants is in a state of decomposition- rot. This is why aged beef is known for being so tender!
