Breakfast- Coconut water from 2 coconuts, 3 lbs fresh fruit salad (cantaloupe, oranges, honeydew, pineapple, strawberries)
Lunch- 18 Medjool dates, 1 lb celery
Dinner- 3 very large bananas, 1 lb lettuce with dressing (7 brazil nuts, 1 Honey tangerine, 6 oz red Bell pepper- blended)
I came really close to going to a raw restaurant after work and treating myself with some fancy raw food. I decided against it because I feel so great eating the simple fare that I've been eating this week. I didn't want to wake up on Saturday feeling less energetic that I've been feeling this week. Tonight, Michael asked if the simple raw fare becomes boring. Actually, once you become accustomed to it it doesn't. Once you take the first bite, you're reminded immediately of how great you feel eating this way and it makes it all worthwhile. I'm amazed at how clear headed I feel; this is a very notable benefit for me. I don't feel like there is a veil between me and the world.
