Proving the laws of nature...

Breakfast- about 16 Clementine oranges

Lunch- 1 pineapple, 2 kiwi

Dinner- Stuffed red pepper(mixed nut meat pate, marinara sauce, pesto sauce), 1/2 cup cashews, 8 Didi's "Mac and Cheese" crackers

The old saying that "you can't break the laws of nature, you can only prove them" must be true because I keep proving it so. Dinner was the example. Even though I felt physically full, I still wanted more and opened that last package of Didi's crackers and ate them. Dinner was high in fat and my body was still wanting fruit (carbs). On other occasions when my appetizer is fruit or a juice such as carrot juice, I feel satisfied and rarely want more after I feel physically full. The same is true when I eat a mono meal of fruit; I always feel satisfied.

Stephen, the comments from Feb 1 were interesting. You were talking about people wanting to hear what raw foodists eat. I think that's why I find your blog one of the most interesting vegan/raw blogs--your simple list of everything you eat in a day.

i love reading what you eat, i sometimes find myself saying, "whoa, that wasn't healthy," and that's what i like about it. i'm raw, but it ain't always pretty, and it's nice to see that in others as well. it helps me keep on truckin'.
