Raw Food log, Voluptuous Mammeas...

Breakfast- 1/4 large watermelon

Lunch- 1 3.06 lb Mammea fruit

Dinner- 4 Miss Lillian's Oatmeal Raisin Cookies, 5 bananas sprinkled & drizzled with sun-dried shredded coconut and tahini

When I see fresh delicious ripe organic fruit my knees get weak, my pulse races, I begin to salivate and I feel powerless to walk away.  I thought that I'd had enough Mammea until I stopped in Integral Yoga Natural Foods to pick a up a few groceries. There, on a back shelf, near the bananas and citrus I saw two large full plump voluptuous Mammeas, soft ripe and ready to eat.  I couldn't resist; so I brought one home with me and I enjoyed eating every bite of it for my lunch today.

After eating the Mammea I had a lot of gas.  Exxon could have invested in me as a new source of natural energy!  I ate it on an empty stomach, and it was a very ripe mammea so I'm puzzled as to why it blew me up.  I don't ever remember this happening when I've eaten Mammea before.

I ate two of my favorite things for dinner but it was too much; I felt like I had a medicine ball in my stomach.  Either thing by itself would have been enough.  I like large meals, so although they're dense, 4 cookies didn't quite make a complete meal for me.  Actually, I thought that I had two packages of cookies in my fridge but when I reached in to get them out I realized that I only had one, hence, the bananas, tahini and coconut entered the picture.
