My far from all Raw Food Log, 2008, 3/18...

On Tuesday, 3/18/08:

Breakfast- from the corner deli: 2 cinnamon raisin bagels, 1 cup decaf coffee

Lunch- at Galaxy diner: Grilled Cheddar on Rye sandwich, large side order of Cole slaw

Dinner- at The Village Den diner: Chicken with rice soup, grilled Swiss cheese on rye bread sandwich, potato skins with cheese and broccoli, Cole slaw

Thank goodness for Cole slaw.  I know I'll get back to raw, but in the meanwhile this very uncomfortable to to share.  I hope it helps someone, somehow, in some way.

It helped me. I fell off the raw wagon last year and am just getting back to it now. When you do something so different people look at you to be the example of what it is. It's a lot of pressure and I felt very alone when I started eating cooked again and like I had to hide what I was eating. I looked up your web site today, after a long time away, because I needed some inspiration. I got it, thank you. I know you'll get back to raw when you're ready for it. Don't beat yourself up about it. My mantra lately is: "I don't have to be perfect, just better."

Your full disclosure has really helped me! I've been trying to sustain a raw food diet for months and most of the time have been sucessful, but I have slipped a number of times and eaten cooked food. The truth is I like cooked food and I'm not sure I can ever give it up completely but I also realize when I eat raw I feel amazing and that is how I want to feel forever. Thank you for telling the truth it is allowing me to tell mine.
