Breakfast- a smoothie: 6 bananas, 1 head Romaine lettuce blended with 2 cups distilled water
Lunch- 24 oz fresh green juice at Village Natural followed at home with 16 Medjool dates
Dinner- 1 1/2 cups fresh pomegranate juice (2 large pomegranates), 3 large Navel Oranges
I frequently meet Nathan and Harold at Village Natural for lunch on Saturday. I like the place, it's convenient and simple, the the staff is terrific, but the raw options are limited to a small salad, guaccamole, small fruit salad and juice. It doesn't seem too bad once I write it out like this. Recently I've been sticking with green juice and then eating something else when I get home.
Today was my first time juicing pomegranates. I tried it two ways, in my citrus juicer and also in my greenstar juicer. The citrus juicer was preferable -easier and less clean-up.
