Raw Food Log, 2009, 12/8...
Breakfast- 2 Golden Delicious Apples, 1 Jonagold apple
Lunch- 32 oz banana/mango/strawberry smoothie; Salad with Romaine, Shredded carrots, cucumbers, walnuts and raisins
Dinner- appetizer of apprx 1 oz of Goji Berries from Bob's Natural Foods in Long Beach, Kale Chips from Alive & Radiant Foods, two slices Sun-Flax Focaccia from Love Force spread with Tree Nut Cashew Cheese from Dr Cow, 1 pint grape tomatoes from Lady Moon Farms.
Today a young woman I work with asked what she should do to get rid of the fine wrinkles, that only she can see, around her eyes. I hesitated to reply because this lovely young woman is not anywhere close to considering a raw way of lfe. I mumbled something about raw leafy greens having a lot of building blocks that help the skin. She said "Oh, there's nothing I can take or put on my skin?" I replied saying that I was not the person for her to ask that question. She kept asking for an answer and I said "Well, you might consider not drinking coffee and getting plenty of sleep so your adrenal glands won't get depleted." She just chuckled and jokingly replied "I was thinking about something like baby placenta!"
