Pre-Breakfast- fresh ginger tea made with slices of fresh ginger steeped in hot water
I'm not drinking black tea this morning and I'm not eating my typical Saturday morning breakfast treat, Raw Revolution bars. I want to get the caffeine out of my system. I started with having tea in the mornings last week mostly for pleasure and partly because I wanted to have the (fake) energy boost to help me get through a challenging couple of days at work after having a week of vacation. Then I continued because I felt afraid of having the slump/withdrawal that comes when the drug is taken away. I hope this isn't too much information. Does anyone really care about my experiences with caffeine? I strive for full disclosure since I'm putting myself out here like this.
Breakfast- 5 sweet delicious large persimmons
Lunch- 4 Gopal's Rawma Carob-Quinoa bars
Dinner- 4 Medjool dates, 1 large Florida Avocado
The Rawma bars for lunch were okay, not great. I had them at home and when I had to go to work for a few hours I took them with me to eat in the office. They sat heavily in my stomach -probably because the ingredients don't combine well and they're dehydrated.
