Raw Food Log, 2010, 3/23...

On Tuesday:

Breakfast- a 64 oz smoothie of 4 large Navel oranges, 1 quart strawberries, 1 large head baby bok choy

Lunch- 20 oz fresh Jamba Juice orange juice, a large salad of Romaine lettuce, cucumbers, celery

Dinner- 20 oz fresh Jamba Juice Orange orange juice

Snack- a handful of dried Goji berries

Believe it or not the the smoothie tasted like Campbell's Cream of Tomato soup from my childhood -in a good way not bad. It was a very curious experience.  I'm thinking that the high mineral content of the bok choy combined with the acid fruit to create that tomato soup flavor.  The raw version is better!

I have been raw for the last 7 months. I am loosing too much weight and it doesn't stop.
I am too skinny. What should I do?

Ada, many people experience this when first stay 100% raw for an extended period of time. It happened to me. My understanding is that our bodies are shedding fat where toxins have been stored for most of our lives. The typical experience is that people loose a lot of weight and then their body comes back to a healthy raw normal. I am not a medical professional, all I can share is my experience. For me, a 6 feet tall man, my weight went from 168lb to 145lbs and then leveled out at 155ish. If you feel okay and you're consuming sufficient calories for your age and body then I would guess that you're going through the normal experience that most 100% raw people have gone through.
