Raw Date 2010, 5/27, Thursday...
Breakfast- large smoothie (1 large pineapple, 1 lb mixed tender greens)
Lunch- 24 oz fresh orange juice from Jamba Juice, large Romaine lettuce and cucumber salad from Bread Market Cafe
Dinner- at Pure Food and Wine: a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, Nori Rolls of House Made Kim-Chee and Dr. Cow Creamy Tree Nut Cheese, Brazil Nut Crusted Almond and Sea Vegetable Croquettes, Classic Sundae
The pineapple was very juicy and no water was needed for the smoothie.
My friends Harold and Nathan and I met up for dinner at Pure Food. I haven't been there in a long time and I enjoyed it. The Nori Rolls were good but I prefer the original versions that used to be served. The croquettes were very flavorful but so rich that I couldn't finish them. The greens served with the croquettes were delicious. I was glad to see the Classic Sundae back on the menu. The kitchen accommodated my request to make mine without chocolate ice cream or chocolate sauce.
