I've been watching a Victoria Boutenko DVD the past couple of days and I like how she says that as one sticks with raw food, one's body will point the direction of what the diet should consist of. At first, anything raw works (raw imitations of cooked food), but over time the tastes change and the body will begin to lead you towards a more refined raw diet of mainly raw fruits and greens with a few nuts and seeds. This had been my experience; the raw imitation food and dehydrated snacks doesn't have the pull on me that it once had.
